Why pants

I have a pair of pants/leggings I love them there textured and cute. But they collect everything. Why did you make these pants collect anything they touch. The list is hair,thread, fabric,leaves,grass,sticks, any and all things that happened to be on the floor. Even when I wash them the stuff stays stuck on so I have to pick the stuff off. I have other leggings and none of them do this. I’m tired and randomly wondering why.

Like look at that cool texture. It feels so weird. I like just rubbing my hand over it. But why does everything stick to it.

Even more procrastinating with starting new project

Ok woke up early didn’t want to wake up my child as early so I made Christmas ornaments. I painted them yesterday but today I decorated them. I used embossing powder and tired using blow dryer to melt but didn’t work so had to put in oven. Which really sucks it was only reason I bought a blow dryer. So that’s lame. Also added some glitter and they came out adorable.

After that I decided to make blueberry jam and it came out so good. I did cut out padding for the placemats I need to start so there’s that. Yet at same time I decided I needed to make four sets of four so 16 placemats before Christmas.

Then I decided to make quesdillas from scratch including the flour tortillas and the jalapeno sauce. But they came out delicous also. My daughter loved them of course my significant other was like there ok. But ignore him the mans idea of good food is peanut butter and jelly or cereal for dinner. Yeah like seriously and he’s 33 I don’t understand it either eats like five year old.

Tomorrow hoping to make at least one placemat mostly to get idea of what I want it to look like. So wish me luck.

Working on my to do list

I used old top sheet fabric and rest is fabric I bought

Got a lot done yesterday yet at the same time procrastinating. I need to make my mother in-law placemats should be the first thing I do. But what do I do I embroidered the fabric for the makeup bags I need finished by may. Then I decide to recover my ironing boards. After that I cut out and sew eight pairs of jammy pants for my daughter and my niece and a jammy top. Im getting things done but I also keep making more things to do. Like I already decided to make my daughter a bag does she need it now definitely not. Yet still most likely going to make today.

I also made homemade pizza and cleaned my kitchen.

I like adding small bows or cute things to my daughter’s clothes. It’s also helps make sure she will actually wear it. Went through patch were she wouldn’t wear anything I made. Last year I was a dinosaur for Halloween and had lots of green flannel left over I made a pair of pants for my niece and my daughter was upset she wanted green paints. I was honestly going to try to dye them to better color but I guess she likes. Also my daughter wants the little ironing board I recovered so cute.

Made some bags today

I made some bags today one was a test bag and the other was for someone. I’m very disappointed in them everyone else I asked said that there fine. There just so limp and disappointing. I made the mistake to buy a bold of interfacing I never used hoping I would be able to use for bags. But it just doesn’t work in my opinion. It’s such a disappointment.

I know I expect alot from myself but I really don’t like that they gave like no structure. Just so flimsy and disappointing. I made one before for my sister didn’t like and I tried stiffining it up with thin interfacing to make then a tad stiffer. It seemed to work until I finished making them just dissapointing. I make the dork bag to test the embroidery frame I just got I purposely used fabric I didn’t like and wrote dork so if it came out horrible I wouldn’t care that much. My daughter wants it doesn’t know it says dork but it’s whatever. Just got seven more bags to go.

Wedding plate

Was going through some things in my closet and found a plate I was going to hang up. It’s an old plate that went to a tea set my mom had. My daughter found it and randomly asked if it was my marriage plate? My daughter is five and I’m just like what? Marriage plate she said you eat off of it when you get married. I thought that was the cutest thing so I said yes that’s exactly what it is. I just forgot to put in China cabinet. I have no idea where she got the idea but it was so cute and adorable and also sounds like it could be a tradition somewhere that I decided to make it ours. She likes to use it randomly excited that she gets to use the marriage plate. Shes so careful with it makes it even more adorable.

A bit of everything explained

I love crafting, creating, making, and just doing things that made me happy. I enjoy most crafty creative things. Some of them include photography, scrapbooking,card making,sewing quilts and clothes, jewelry making, cooking,baking, organizing, and decorating. There are some things that don’t have a category to be grouped with best I guess crafting. Like last month I made my daughter a butterfly headband.
